Blackbutt
Blackbutt (or Blackbutt Eucalyptus) is an attractive and much sort after Australian hardwood for timber flooring. It is known for its high strength and durability, making it a reliable and long-lasting choice when it comes your floors.
Blackbutt is often oiled to bring out its natural colour variation. Its natural tones can vary from golden hue to a creamy brown, but generally has an even colour and straight grain.
Blackbutt timber flooring from Embelton comes in several finishes, including Matte Brushed Finish, and Smooth Gloss Finish. Choose from their general, rustic, wideboard and even Herringbone options.
Spotted Gum
Spotted Gum is a great Australian Timber with a beautiful texture and flowing grain. The wood is much sort after in Australian homes for its rich hues and durable properties.
Spotted Gum features a range of hues from a soft mid-brown to a rich earthy brown, that can also show traces of reddish hues. The grain has more variation than Blackbutt, but isn’t too dynamic in its colour variations.

Tasmanian Oak
